Hacher Watches

Our Philosophy:

"Quality watches with Swiss mechanical movements, that are affordable."

In particular, the preparation of qualitatively high-quality watches in small volumes makes it possible for us to concentrate completely on each individual watch and meet individual demands.  We are thus able to meet tailor-made design demands including individual dials and creating special engraving.  The result is a special, nobel time piece for the owner or collector of mechanical chronographer with Swiss movements.

The saying "It's impossible,  or 'we can't do it,' is foreign to us, we always try our utmost to meet individual customer needs.

Through his own personal passion and interest in watches, Jürgen Hackbarth-Herzberger founded Hacher Watches in December 1991.

It all began in 1988 with the purchase of a leather watch strap at the SINN store in Frankfurt. During a discussion over mechanical chronograph watches, Helmut Sinn became aware of Herzberger's enthusiasm and interest in watches. From this day on, Herzberger became a part of the team at Sinn Special Watches Frankfurt, and had the chance to be taken under the wings of Helmut Sinn.

His own dream to be able to present a small, private collection was made possible at the Basel Fair in 1991 with the cooperation of the Swiss company Virgile Mathez. The first series was produced and developed under the name HACHER (HACHER = HACbarth-HERzberger) and was sold successfully to watch collectors. Over time, exclusive special series were made for Kickers Offenbach, Borussia Dortmund and various Porsche Clubs.

A new era began for the company on April 1, 2002 when it became a private limited company. This paved the path for further success and the move to a new corporate office in Offenbach. The current product line-up features five different chronograph series offered with the Swiss made automatic caliber Valjoux 7750-25.

Since August 2009, two time World Rallye champion and four time Rallye Monte Carlo winner, Walter Röhrl became a brand ambassador for Hacher Watches. In spring 2010, the Walter Röhrl Edition, a limited edition of 301 chronographs, will be available exclusively to collectors and fans alike.
